My favorite Things: Summer

Summer is perhaps my favorite season of the year. Many people complain that it's too hot but I love it. I love the warmth I feel from the sun on my skin. I love that fact that we get more sunlight in the evening. I love the cookouts, graduations, wedding, and other functions that brings my family together especially for the family members I do not see often during the year. Even as an allergy sufferer, I prefer this season. I am definitely looking forward to see what this summer has in store for me.

My favorite things: Hair

I went natural in 2009 and ever since then, I have been obsessed with hair! Learning new styling techniques, researching hair products, and YouTube have aided in my addiction to natural hair. YouTube was so helpful in the beginning stages of my hair journey. Styling has been and continues to be one of my biggest challenges when it comes to hair. Hopefully with practice I'll be able to do the styles I love.
